Southey Sports Arena
The Sports Arena Complex has a very busy and comprehensive program with figure and power skating, and hockey operating at all levels in a new fully modern facility. The arena’s concrete floor allows for trade shows, Octoberfests, car shows, in-line skating, and other large gatherings. |

Southey Curling Club
The Curling Club has an active program for all ages mixed, seniors.
ladies, men's, junior and senior school programs in an excellent 3 sheet
facility. The facility features an upstairs waiting room with an
excellent viewing area and downstairs club room, all of which, along
with the ice surface, can be rented. |
The re-designed softball and baseball diamonds are home to minor
ball, slow-pitch, fastball and baseball during the summer months. |
The Southey School has an adult badminton program as well as a recreation night. |
The museum features many donated artifacts from the early 1900’s, old photos and maps and a collection of Indian hammers. One area of the museum is set up as a series of rooms all in time period decoration. There is also a display dedicated to war veterans with Legion flags and mannequins showing uniforms worn by the armed forces. One special attraction is the restored first Southey school with benches, desks, and presided over by the ever present teacher. Machinery on display includes a separator, breaking plows, and many others. Of special interest are the first rotary rock picker and self propelled rock picker built by Pete Anderson in Southey. This museum is a great tribute to the early pioneers of the area. |

Murals
A "WAR MEMORIAL" mural on the south side of the Southey Drug Store commemorates local residents who served in both World Wars to secure the right of freedom for future generations. |
The Southey Library #16 is a branch of Parkland Regional Library in Yorkton. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1-6 p.m. and Wednesday evenings 7-9 p.m. Book services include new paperbacks available every two months and the latest hardcover releases can be requested. Story-hour for pre-schoolers operates from September to May. Internet privileges are available during hours of operation by appointment. Phone 306-726-2907

The Southey Memorial Hall is operated by the Town of Southey and features a hardwood dance floor, kitchen facilities and upstairs and downstairs available for rental. Contact Town of Southey (726-2202).

The Southey Cable Company is owned and operated by the Town of Southey under the guidance of the Southey Cable Committee. There is one basic package available to all for the low monthly price of $28.00. OUR 59 CHANNEL LINE-UP INCLUDES:

Carlton Trail College offers workplace development courses in job start, future skills, business and computers and skill development in trades, agriculture and health and community services.
